We at FLUID REGEN have addressed the issue of recycling engine
oil, hydraulic fluid and coolants and stand ready to demonstrate what it can means to your business bottom-line.
There has been little said about recycled
engine oil as producers do not talk about lube-oils breaking down. Nor is much disclosed regarding contaminates,
other than standard oil filter which primarily performs a protecting job by removing
larger particles. Oil producers introduce additives which, among other items are utilized to hold smaller microscopic contaminants
in suspension, and to combat other problems such as acid formation, oxidation, nitration, moisture intrusion.
According to American Petroleum Institute
(API) Publication #1507, page 13, engine oil should be changed before additive depletion and contaminants begin
to affect engine performance and life. Waste oil correctly processed can provide a "as new or better"
product for reuse and virtually eliminate waste-oil disposal cost.
